Until then, please provide your comments and ask your questions. We will discuss about setting up project calendar in the next post. The project calendar should reflect our organization calendar so that tasks should not get scheduled in non-working hours and days. The next step from here will be to set up a project calendar. How to create custom calendar will be discussed later. We can also create a custom calendar and use it is default calendar. We can also choose “Night Shift” or “24 Hours”. Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm with an hours lunch break. We can do so by selecting “Project Finish Date” from “Scheduled from” drop down. We can also choose to provide finish date instead of start date if we want to schedule the project backward i.e. We will provide project start date if it is not already specified. Project Information dialogue box will open up. Goto to “Project Tab” and click on “Project Information”. We can add tasks, resources and schedule our project.įigure-10-Create New Project – Project Information To start a blank new project, start project and select either “Blank Project” or “Waterfall Project”. Let’s get into details to understand how we can use these feature to our advantage. Microsoft project also provide several readymade templates to quickly start a new project. In a typical project management scenario, you: Plan your work to manage ideas, plans, tasks, and milestones. If we are using SharePoint and we want to schedule task we have created on SharePoint, an option to start a new project using SharePoint tasks list is also provided. If we have planned something already in excel, MS Project gives an option to start a new project from an excel workbook. If the new project is very similar to an existing project, it would be wise to create new project using the existing one and then making change in it. We can start a normal project using Waterfall. Two templates were recently made available to start an agile project – Using Scrum or using Kanban. It gives us options to create a blank project if we want to start from scratch. When we start Microsoft Project, we see a screen as in Figure-1 You can start a project completely from scratch or use a readymade template to get started quickly. Microsoft Project provide various options to create a new project easily and quickly. The use of these tools is again to summarize things and they could be adopted in a brainstorming phase of a project. It is a bit brief but if used in conjunction with the above or with some other software we’ve been talking about might result in a pretty detailed plan. The fourth template gives a quick look on wedding planning. I find this event very thorough and a good basis for a Work Breakdown Structure. The third template is quite similar to the latter but it gives a different perspective on Marketing the Event. This in particular is for Tradeshow planning. The second template answers to several requests I had for an Event Gantt Template. Although very simple it gives a clear picture of what needs to be done to develop a project, so it can be of substantial help for those starting out. The first template is for project management. This article is being preserved for posterity and linking purposes only. I want to make mine a simple template that we can use for projects. It will now appear in your default notebook section. Simply sign in to Notegram with your Microsoft account, select the template you desire and select Save. Unfortunately, Microsoft broke all of the links so the templates are now gone. Ive launched Microsoft Project on another tab, and Ive brought that window up. Notegram allows you to quickly save template files via your Microsoft account.

The three users with the highest amount of SBC Points gained within the contest duration will be marked as winners. In this case, please make sure to specify it next to the link of your release, as it'd be quite tedious for us to verify each single release to see if it fulfilled a request or not.Ħ) Releases not meeting any of the previous criteria, will not be counted and will not give you any SBC Points. Regardless of what's written above, when you fulfill a Game Request or App Request, and/or if you include our license system in your mods (pm me for more info), your release will count as 2 SBC Points (special thanks to for suggesting this one!).Games or Apps patched (via Lucky Patcher or SB Patcher ) will count as 0.20 SBC Points(due to the faster process in doing so, compared to regularly modded games). Also, if you provide more one (or more) alternative hacks for the same game/app, you'll get 0.5 additional SB Points (max 2.5 SB Points in total for each release). Each succesfully released (and confirmed to be working) MOD APK will count as 1 SBC Point.(for example, if you release version v1.1 of a certain game during this contest, updating it to v1.2 won't count as a new release) In this case, you can ignore this rule.ģ) The game/app you're going to hack must be tested, working and up to date.Ĥ) Game/App updates of something you already released for the current contest doesn't count. The only exception would be games/apps you're hacking via mobile phone (for example, if you don't own a pc). (As for multiplayer, it’s mainly focused as a PVE type of game rather than a balanced PVP mode.) However, once you learn to manage its clumsy, yet simple, interface the benefits of the 3D environment and the scripting capabilities for wider role-playing outshines its issues. At first, the limitations of NWN1 may seem detrimental to the single-player experience compared to the Infinity Engine due to the lack of feedback for party management. These examples should demonstrate the sheer creative freedom when these tools are in the proper hands, and the most impressive part is how well the engine balances both single-player and multiplayer. Underlining this impressive volume of grand adventures is the extensive capability of the Aurora Engine itself, which is not only used in BioWare’s future titles (Knights of the Old Republic and Dragon Age: Origins) but also licensed to CD Projekt Red for The Witcher. As a result, to evaluate the game for the shortcomings of one story would be missing the point as there are literally thousands to choose you can simply put the book back on the shelf and open a new chapter instead. The reality is NWN is more than the sum of its problems or its qualities of excellence it’s a library full of heroic tales that continues to add new chapters, new insights and new worlds that never loses its luster. While these problems are still relevant, and the game is flawed if it took me the fourth time around to get invested, NWN has quickly become not only the greatest tabletop adaptation for RPGs but also the most expansive, memorable tapestry of adventures. "The Nights May Not Last, yet the Dream Shall"įor the longest time, Neverwinter Nights was something I never thought could be for me due its shortcomings in single-player as well as my stubbornness to play original campaigns before any mods or expansions. Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition (PC) review Another pet frustration of mine is the habit of some people in drawing logic components. I tend to have multiple symbols for parts like these, and pick the one that seems most appropriate for the case. Or some other scheme based on what you want to highlight in the schematic. power inputs as one part and each I/O bank into separate parts. You could separate the component into e.g. While there might not be a single right answer for every occasion, some kind of structured approach will beat a mass of undifferentiated pins every time. Is there a way to globally change this to just show the IC as 1 part on my layout? i hope im making sense if not i can probably upload some photos when i get back in the lab to further explain ie it shows 1 Dip package as three separate 'parts' or what not in the schematic editor. however in Diptrace it places 2 different sections to the IC as well as a separate power and ground section. in eagle's schematic layout when i add a DIP package for say TL072 it actually placed a dip package with all the pins, i prefer it this way. ive only been fiddling around with diptrace the last day or so and it seems to be pretty good however theres one thing that is annoying me. anyway after doing my head in trying to work out eagles ridiculous upgrade paths not to mention the cost i decided to give diptrace a go. Ive been using eagle for a little while and although im able to make layouts etc pretty well i recently found that i was running into problems due to board size (pin count was fine but i just wanted to spread things over a larger area for enclosures and so forth). |
